A very nice weekend

We had a very nice weekend. We dropped the kids off at my Mom's house and started the day with the PNB "The Sleeping Beauty" it was amazing (as any PNB production is!). After the Ballet we headed out to a Bed and Breakfast in Bothell called Eason Estates. It was AMAZING! A very nice retired couple run it, out of their house. They bought their neighbors house which was built in 1904 and moved it over to their property, they completely gutted the neighbors house and turned it into a wonderful retreat. The best part was that they kept all the charm of a 1904 house but added all the luxuries of a modern hotel. Radian heating, Jetted tub, ect.... At Beth and Shaun's recommendation we had dinner at the Preservation Kitchen, which was wonderful, Valet parking, cloth napkins, the whole works, pretty fancy for us!! Breakfast at the B&B was great, homemade granola, eggs, bacon, potatoes, gourmet bread, YUM! They mentioned that they give a steep group discount, and welcome groups of adults. I can't wait to go there with a few couples for the weekend. It was so nice to get away and have a quite weekend, we even slept in!! it was really nice to not have to go anywhere for breakfast, very relaxing. Anyway, if you are looking for a retreat that is close to home, inexpensive and wonderful, i fully recommend Eason Estates.

I almost cried just now with envy. I haven't slept in for years. And my last dinner out ended with our small child ending our evening prematurely by chucking at the table. Sigh. I live vicariously through your tale.
