My Mom and I took a trip down to Medford Oregon, for my cousins wedding reception. Our first stop was Crater Lake which i just love! it is so clean and beautiful, and the drive up through the forests was amazing. We spent the day playing in the snow and exploring, and had a very fancy dinner at the Lodge.
the next day we headed out to Medford. in the forest i found these gigantic pine cones, they were so cool i had to bring some home. On the way to Medford we made a detour to the Oregon Vortex; location of the house of mystery. it was pretty cool, I can't really explain it, but here is what their website said "The Oregon Vortex is a glimpse of a strange world where the improbable is the commonplace and everyday physical facts are reversed. It is an area of naturally occurring visual and perceptual phenomena, which can be captured on film. No matter your education or profession you will find a challenge to all your accepted theories" we had lots of fun, and the kids got to participate in the tour!
The trip to Medford was made kinda yucky by the fact that it was 90 degrees out and the Air Conditioning in our van broke the week before.
It wad really nice to spend some time with my wonderful Mom and enjoy the beauty of nature.
