oh my goodness

so my darling Emelia is what some people would call "high energy" which is just a nice way of saying "your kid is crazy" yesterday i was trying to make lunch i thought emelia was in her room playing but it turns out she was in my bathroom. she had climbed up on the counter, gotten my brand new bottle of foundation and used it to finger paint all over the bathroom, our bedroom, the hallway and the rug in the dinning room. she ruined a brand new outfit, my temple quilt that was made for our wedding and her brothers new shirt. I was very upset, i was good and didn't yell at her or spank her (both of which i wanted to do). i sent her to her room while i cleaned up. i think she understood that what she did was bad because when mike got home and went to look at the damage emelia tried to stop him, following him down the hall crying.
