Today is Mike's birthday! he is 38. The kids and i suprised him at work and took him out to lunch. i let the kids pick anything they wanted to for their presents for him, luke picked a package of plastic flies and Emelia picked a windup monkey that does flips. there presents very fitting for who they are. after we got home from lunch the kids helped me bake some brownies (which are mikes favorite thing) luke insisted that daddy needed a pinata so we chose a dragon one. i'm not sure how fun a pinata is with just 2 kids but we will do it anyhow.
