| this is the special ultrasound i have to drive all the way to Seattle for! |
Well, Baby "no name" is doing great! So far no signs of anemia from my wicked little antibodies. I had an ultrasound yesterday, i am 29 weeks. As the tech was measuring his head, she started asking me about my glucose testing (which was fine) and my blood pressure (which is enviably low) finally asking if i tend to have big babies, understanding her line of questioning i responded- does he have a big head? (yes) well, when you get to his legs they will be smaller. and sure enough- Baby's head is measuring at 32.5 weeks and his legs are measuring at 29 weeks, in other words, Big head and short stubby legs... yep he is definitely a Shultis! He is already tipping the scales at 3lbs 10oz, which leaves me to ask where the other 30lbs are. I am now to the point where i get to make these lovely trips to Seattle every other week. the best part of that is each ultrasound costs us a $100.00 co-pay (i really hope this baby doesn't want to go to college!) anyway, we are starting to prepare for his arrival, we are slowly gathering supplies and trying to make room in our house for a whole new person and all his stuff. He is big and strong enough now for the kids to be able to feel him kicking- they love it! you should have seen Luke's face the first time he felt the baby move! it was priceless. I am actually really enjoying this pregnancy. i love sharing this time with my children and can't wait to meet this little guy who is well worth all the trouble! I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a mom, and think that i have the most wonderful, smartest, cutest children in the history of humanity- and i say that with out any bias.

Agreed! I can't wait to meet the little guy (in due time of course). And you are pretty cute pregnant too. ;)
