Car Seats

So in April i took a course to become a child passenger safety technician with Safe Kids USA. On friday i did my first real Car seat check up clinic at the Oak Harbor Walmart. There were two other techs there. we did 22 seats all together, giving away 4 car seats and 1 booster to families who needed a new seat but couldn't afford it. It felt so good to send those kids away knowing they were safer than when they came in and it was awesome to impower the parents to be able to keep their kids safer. I absolutely LOVE working with the community, helping keep kids safe.
