so i have been having a lot of problems with emelia not being gentle with our new puppy. shes not doing anything out right malicious mostly just playing with her like she is a stuffed toy. she likes to drag her around by her collar and smother her with hugs and kisses. i have tried everything to get her to be nicer, with no difference being made, honestly i'm going crazy!! you know the show "its me or the dog?" i want to go on "its my daughter or the dog" Luna is a good puppy and takes all her energy in good stride, never so much as growling. which is part of the problem, if Luna would just take a good bite at her Em might figure it out!! anyway in desperation today i came up with "Puppy Patrol" of which Emelia is the leader. Her job as "Puppy patrol" is to make sure that every one is being nice to the puppy and following the puppy rules. i even made her her very own puppy patrol shirt. this is a last ditch effort to try to get through to her that she has to be nice!! lets hope it works (it just might she really likes to be in charge and boss others around) Luke had to have a shirt too of course so watch out poachers here come Lukas Shark Patrol!

Hope it works, I can just see her telling everyone to be nice to her dog!
Emelia may be the last person I want to consider a law enforcement career, she may be a bit overzealous. She may even make a bit of a holy terror of herself in the puppy protection game, but I think it's a great idea.
You always come up with such ingenious and creative solutions!
I'll give Luke a call next time I see a shark in my tub!
