All Done

well, i finally did it.... Zackery is all done breastfeeding. it was hard to let go, knowing that most likely i won't have another baby. i think i have a little "post-weaning depression". It's been hard, it feels like i am leaving one phase, and entering into a new one. my baby isn't a baby anymore, and in turn i am no longer a mother of an infant. i'm out of the "baby club", permanently this time. it weird because for the last 6 and a half years i have been pregnant or nursing, with very short breaks in between. a few months ago i really didn't think i could handle moving on and no longer having infancy and pregnancy in my life. i am still struggling a bit but i think i can move on and start the next phase of raising the beautiful family i have and watching them grow and learn, most importantly being right there every step of the way.

Awww that's very sweet. He is such a big boy now, but it's always nice when they still like snuggles.
Big kids are fun too! It's so fun to realize what new things they can do!
Hope you have fun in your new phase of life, with your 3 big kiddos!

you are awesome! i am so proud to have a sister like you! if our mom wasn't the bomb and i didn't love having you as a sister so much, i would wish you were my mommy!

I am almost out of the preschooler phase. It is hard when your baby reaches milestones, but things get easier as they get older in many ways.

I remember when we made that decision with Carson..I savor and take every moment especially with him. I even take deep breathes of him. He is my baby and he knows it. It is great to be in a great step in our lives-a senior to a 2nd grader..I love it all...
