i'm just fat....
so 4 times in the last 2 months, i have been asked by acquaintances, and strangers, if i am pregnant. NO I AM NOT! i'm not sure why people feel the need to ask (especially strangers). the first few times it was funny but when the girl at costco asked today it just made me mad!! here is my advice, don't ask women if they are pregnant unless they are really round and you are SURE she is really pregnant!! not exactly the ego booster!

oh man! Becky you do not look pregnant friend! Some people just have no filter or something! Isn't that the worst too when you have just lost a bunch of weight? My kids keep talking about the "baby in my tummy" um...I have just lost 30 pounds and now they think I look pregnant? Nice. You look great lady!
I have a theory that when a woman's chest is small than their belly, people think she's pregnant and feel free to ask. So to validate my theory in this case, maybe your top is smaller than your belly?
YOU DO NOT LOOK PREGNANT!!!! I think you look great. I am so sorry, but people can be really insensitive.
That's just amazing. There is a woman in my office, just a tiny little woman (Vietnamese and well under 5') and I thought she was, well, growing..., but I NEVER asked her about her pregnancy until just recently when she started to waddle. I would rather stick my tongue in a light socket than ask a non-pregnant woman if she is expecting.
AND, you don't look pregnant!
Wow, you think people would have more tact. Maybe they were just trying to make conversation? Celese's comment made me laugh too, becuase I think that situation would apply more to ME than to YOU!!!
