At pre-school a few weeks ago the kids and I planted sunflowers. and today i noticed they are growing!! i have never seen plants grow with the shell still on them. I thought it was really neat! i can't wait to see how big they will get!
dang those are cool pictures i love your new camera i go out and stare at my little garden everyday to see if something has grown yet.... not yet it has only been 6 days:)
I am a stay at home mom of 4 beautiful amazing children. Our oldest has a severe peanut allergy, which keeps us on our toes! I am a baby-wearing, Breast feeding, co-sleeping, organic buying, nature loving mom. I try to teach my children to respect our planet and it's delicate ecosystems, to help them understand that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, that we are the stewards of our planet and have a responsibility to leave it better than we found it. we love camping, hiking, pretty much anything outdoors. I love every moment of motherhood- even when I'm ready to pull my hair out!

Nothing is better science for kids than just planting a seed and watching it grow.
We were surprised to see our sunflowers grow like that last year too! So fun!
