Soccer

So luke had his second soccer practice today and well, it didn't go very well. last week he loved it, he came home saying it was the best day of his life. well today about 5 minutes into practice he breaks down crying. he kept saying it was too hot (which it wasn't) and that the sun was in his eyes,(which it wasn't) and he wanted to go home. well me being the orge of a mom i am wouldn't let him quit. "you made a commitment to this team and you are not quiting" i made him get back in there and participate, well if luke is one thing he is obedient. he got back out there and played, crying and yelling "i want to go home" it was quite the sight; luke running up and down the field, kicking at the ball all the while having a major melt-down. i think it all came down to the fact that he had a long day and was super tired. i was pretty darn embarrassed! oh well, hopefully next time will go better.
