new toy

so for a while now i have been hating my digital camera. it just doesn't take good pictures. they are always fuzzy, out of focus ect... photography has always been a love of mine. i even used to do some work with a professional photographer (mainly as his lackey) i have a old cannon rebel 35 mm camera that i just love, but well, film is just outdated. anyway, today i got a new toy: the Canon Rebel XSI

I have only gotten to play with it for about an hour but i really like it so far. i still need to spend lots of time figuring it out! anyway, i think its a good investment so i can actually get some decent pictures of our kids!! i had to promise mike that i would take all our children's portraits for 2 years to pay for it!! here are a couple of pictures i took just messing around.
