a woman in Roseburg Or (which is where my mom was born by the way) was harrassed by a mall employee for breastfeeding her baby on a walkway bench. I am in total support of this woman, and think it is every mothers right to feed her baby, and honestly suprised this is still an issue. i was wondering though..... whats your opinon on the subject??
please note: we are all friends and i know breastfeeding is a personal and very sensitive topic so lets keep it civil!! but i am very interested in hearing what you have to say!!

I think a mother should be able to breastfeed her baby where ever she needs to. I was never very good at keeping it descreat because my breast were so big so I didn't like to do it in public.
I think most people would rather a mother take care of her baby than have to listen to it cry. I know I would!
A little discretion on the one hand and the ability to avert one's eyes on the other is all that is needed. There are unreasonable people all over, and a unusually large number of unreasonable people are in positions of small authority (e.g., security guards in malls). These things shouldn't happen, but I'm afraid they always will.
Personally I'm all for it. I think women should be able to breast feed in public, its a natural process, however some discretion would be advisable to keep down on the gawkers.
Or those guys... nevermind...
I think she should be able to feed her baby -- as long as her baby's not 10 years old. People just need to look away, look away!
OK, this is one of my soapboxes. People...if we can drink the milk from a cow, why not our own mother...that is what breasts are for. They really aren't toys.
Anyway. I did actually feed my first baby in a bathroom stall once, but her freaking from the toilet flushing opened my eyes to the fact that we shouldn't eat in the can.
Um... I think that guy shoving the burger down his gullet is just as dusgusting. I mean why does anybody need to eat in public?
