I have learned an awful lot in the 5+ years I have been a mom. I think each of my children have taught me very different things.
Luke- From Luke I have learned that parenting can be a joyful experience and I have learned to find amazement in the everyday things. He has taught me what real unconditional love means.(the way any first child would) i have also learned more about Dinosaurs, Bugs and other weird animals than i ever thought possible! he has such a love and hunger for learning.
Emelia- Em has taught me Patience, i am a very impatient person but i am learning and getting much better, from her i have also learned that "a kind answer turneth away wrath" in that she doesn't respond to yelling or anger but to kindness and understanding (which is really difficult sometimes!!) Also she has shown me how funny life can be, she has an infectious laugh that is amazing!
Zackery- Zackery has taught me that the Lord knows us and knows what we need. when i found out I was pregnant with him, i freaked out a little, thinking i couldn't handle it, but I decided I needed to have faith that my Father in Heaven knew me better. Zackery is my ray of sunshine that keeps me going when life is hard. Everyday I am grateful for his happy smile and warm hugs!
I am so glad that i get to be the mom to such awesome kids. I am grateful for the experiences i have had and for all the things i have learned.

Thanks for sharing, I think it is important that we look at those things frequently, or we get caught up in the difficulty.

Thanks for sharing! I was just looking at baby pictures of Bryson as we are preparting his Star Student of the week display, and me too took a step back and thought how wonderful all our children are!!!! We are lucky to have the opportunity to be parents
