Farm tour

Today we went on a tour of some farms on whidbey island with our preschool group. it was really fun, we saw lots of neat things. my favorite was the Alpaca farm, which there are no pictures of because my battery died. the kids favorite was riding the horses. I thought Emelia would be scared to ride such a BIG horse, but she loved it, afterwards she kept saying "i want to ride again!!" she also said she wanted the horse to run like the horses out in the field. at the alpaca farm we got to watch a woman spin yarn and we learned about the differences between an Alpaca and a Lama ( Lamas are bigger and have banana ears) it was pouring down rain by the time we got to the alpaca farm but we still had lots of fun, and i think the kids even learned a thing or two.

That looks like it was a bunch of fun. Did you have to make special arrangements to go, or do they have certain times that they do tours?

Hey that is awesome. Where were the horses that you got to ride? What arrangements did you have to make? I have a kid who is dying to ride a horse.

You thought Emelia would be scared? Are we talking about the same Emelia?
