Stress update
well, we were able to find a copy of our lease which clearly stated our lease was "november 1 2007 through october 31 2008." My wonderful husband presented this information to the agency at which point they realized a mistake had indeed been made. they agreed that our lease is indeed up on the 31st of october. (like i had been telling them all along!) I feel much more relaxed about this transaction now. its just really frustrating when people don't believe you, but it felt really good to be vindicated. thanks to all of you who had to listen to my angry ranting!!

Luckily, I'd heard your whines before...
I'm so glad that your lease thing worked out...and I totally understand trying to fit more expenses (especially unexpected ones) into an already strained budget. I went through something similar, although it was the taxman trying to put me into financial ruin, and wow can that just about kill a person's spirit! But, thank goodness, it usually all works out in the end. By the way, I LOVE the pictures of the flying naked daredevil! She is something else!
Glad everything worked out. Way to go Mike finding the lease! I hate when companies mess up on their paper work. How could they mistake Nov. for Dec.? Ridiculous!
