My awesome friends Tara and Kellyanne invited me to go Berry picking with them on Thursday. It was lots of fun. and believe it or not Emelia actually ate several strawberries! for those of you who don't know Emelia won't normally eat any kind of fruit. once before she ate a Banana at my friend Phames house and has also eaten applesauce for her. anyways i bought 6 lbs of strawberries and here is what i did with them. I made low sugar freezer jam, strawberry pancakes and fruit leather. so far the fruit leather is refusing to become leathery but hopefully it will turn out, i think it works better if you have a dehydrator. well, i guess we will see if it will work, i think Phame and I are going to go in together and buy a dehydrator to share. It should be easier then.
