OK so Tara tagged me, i have to tell 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 obsessions, 3 random facts, and 3 people to tag next.
so here we go....
Joys
1.My Family. in particular my children are my greatest source of joy (and also frustration and grey hair)
2. Living in the great northwest. i was born and raised a northwest girl, i love the culture, the people, the scenery, well just about everything about the Pacific northwest!!!
3.I Love the diversity in the world around me, i love to learn about other cultures and people. i love that our heavenly father made us each unique, how boring it would be if we all thought, acted and looked the same.
Fears
1. my child dying as a result of my momentary carelessness. that is why I'm so uptight about car seats, and swimming pools and strangers and water and well, anything else i perceive as a potential threat.
2.myself dying before my children are grown, it scares me to think of them left without me, during there formative years.
3.that people don't really like me, like i don't really fit in. and they are just being nice by including me.
Goals
1. to spend more quality time with my children, not just less TV but more engaging and really being in the moment with them, so that they know how important they are to me.
2. I want to loose another 30 pounds by Zackerys birthday.
3.To live so that i can go to bed each night and know that i did my best and lived up to my standards.
Obsessions
1. Clipping my kids nails. i really hate long fingernails on little kids, i clip my kids nails at least once a week if not twice a week.
2. blogging, i have really enjoyed this medium as a way to express myself and to get to know the wonderful women in my ward.
3.Taking pictures, i have at least a thousand pictures on a external hard drive, one day i will scrapbook them. hopefully.
Random facts
1. I'm terrified to fly. I once took a 3 day train ride to avoid the 6 hour flight to Massachusetts.
2. I was a vegetarian for 6 years, I craved it so bad when i was pregnant with luke that i stopped but i still don't like meat all that much.
3.I was almost arrested during the WTO riots in Seattle in 2000.

Thanks for playing, it is so much fun to get to know you. I think it is really interesting that so many of us fear not fitting in, I thought that was supposed to go away after our teenage years. Also, I found a great site for turning those pictures into books, I did one and I love it. I am doing the boys' baby books and our family albums that way. If you are interested, let me know. Also, when can you play?
I don't blog but I will make it a point to get my answers out there some how :0)
